it worked fine without melody, but I benefited from scaling.
The DMRV body bolts came pre-cleaned, the fit is fine, the air filter is cheap. You get what you pay for. I changed the air filter and still use it. I have a WRX swap in my '96 Impreza and no stock airbox so I'm not sure the MAF body diameter is the same. It worked fine without tuning but benefited from rescaling my MAF.
