Nellvita is a cheap bike computer, but with many useful features. These include: odometer, ride time, current ride distance, current speed, average ride speed, maximum ride speed, calories burned, fat burning, stopwatch, time of day, temperature and water resistance. The computer also has a setting that reminds you to service your bike at a certain mileage and turns on the batteries. The device comes with two written guides โ a short printed guide and a longer and more detailed printed guide. This was our second unit, my husband bought one for his bike and I liked the look of it so I bought another one for my mountain bike. The installation process is simple. One thing to keep in mind is that when installing the wireless sensor, make sure it is within the recommended distance from the magnet. Many people don't understand this and think that something is wrong with the bike computer. Usually, after installing the computer and sensor, I just leave the front wheel and spin it by hand to make sure it works. My bike has very thick fork arms, so I had to mount the sensor far below the normal sensor, almost next to the spoke. Also remember to remove the paper battery protectors from the computer and sensor. The computer actually came with an extra battery, which was nice. This bike computer comes with an extra extension which was nice as I have a pannier attached to the handlebars and mounting the computer to the handlebars was impractical so we used an extension. There was one problem though, the lever diameter was much larger than the handlebar diameter so I had to use both rubber strips to make sure it installed securely. The computer starts automatically after a few seconds of movement or you can start it with the push of a button. The Nellvita computer is easy to read on the go. You can set up your computer to run through multiple readings as you drive. Nellvita does not have an "off" button; It turns off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. The computer's backlight is bright and can be activated with the push of a button. Update - 03/12/2021 We have had this bike computer for a couple of weeks now. I have to say it works better than expected. I have ridden my bike for over 100 miles and the performance of the device has been very stable. I definitely prefer a big display. I have another bike in Michigan with a smaller display and had trouble seeing it while cycling.
