I used this to get a Wi-Fi signal about 400ft from my router. Cable 100ft Blue (Revain #B0795M9N71 $37.99). First: Factory reset the Nanostation M2. .0CAT5 from PC Ethernet port to POE + CAT7 from POE to NSM2 main port. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the NSM2 in the search bar: 192.168.1.20. current firmware. (airOS SYSTEM tab) SYSTEM Administrative username: (user chosen name) Password: (user chosen password) Change NETWORKIP address: 192.168.1.20 (default) Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway IP address: 192.168. 2.1 (this is the IP address of the router) Disable IPV6 Change WirelessWireless Mode: Access PointSSID: (user selection) (this will be shown to users when they log into NSM2) Channel Width: 20MHz Frequency: 2422 in use) Security: WPA2 -AESWPA Pre-Shared Key: (user selection) (WLAN password) Edit tab with UBIQUITI logo Disable airMAX Edit + apply Documentation Screenshot of all tabs Download .cfg file and compress Logout Disable CAT7 for PC and connect to the WLAN router
