Perfect for small & well trained dogs

We recently took in a little elderly chihuahua when her owner passed away and we are in the stage of acclimating and making a schedule so we need to be able to see her and her see us as well as other pets so she can get used to everything with minimal stress. We had a metal freestanding playpen for her but it took up so much space but she’s rarely in it except when it’s bedtime or we have to leave. This gate was extremely easy to setup & I just angle the fence off the walls around it so she’s not so "caged in”. She adores her little area and when our other dogs get riled up she doesn’t want to play so she goes to her pen door, I open it for her to relax in her own space. The bar spacing is an ideal size, even this little chi head can’t fit through, the ends fit against the walls without a gap so she has no idea a little weight could open the wall access. The door closes securely, it does wave a bit when we leave it wide open but I do not have concerns. Granted this dog is well behaved and fairly older but we have not had a single problem with it. Now my larger dog I wouldn’t really tempt with h this unless it’s wall mounted as she would plow right over the pen and probably knock the door off but if you have a well behaved dog like this girl who is not destructive, this is a pretty setup and it fits in my home so much better then a metal puppy pen… it’s also much larger than simply adding a cage for her so I would consider this a good option. It’s a very good size in both height & length for my purposes, it would also be great for puppies!
