I bought this vinyl cutter/cutter to be able to quickly do both in the kitchen where I work. My mom has one and it works great. However, the blade that is supposed to peel the apple does not always penetrate far enough into the apple skin to peel it evenly. There is usually a spot on the apple that isn't even peeled. I adjusted the blade but it didn't help. For what I used apples for, the peel pieces didn't bother me. Just wanted others to know that this is the problem area of this product. I can always peel the apple beforehand and move the blade so it doesn't work when I really need a clean apple.
