Review on 🚴 SHIMANO SH-AM9 Performance Cycling Shoe for Men by Peter Green

Nice lightweight AM shoes with a flatter and wider forefoot which I prefer. Excellent ventilation! I bought a 46 for a size 11.5 and the Powerstep insole fit in easily. Only criticism is that the sole is not very stiff, which is normal for this type of shoe. Shimano gives them a stiffness index of 4 compared to 9 for their XC shoes. I don't care about the lacing system or the lace covers either. They should have just made standard Velcro. I will replace the thin nylon lace with real lace and cut off the lace. My foot is on the wide side and they have plenty of room.
