Review on 🔍 ACDelco GM OE A3147C Air Filter by Joey Gilbert

I am a mechanically competent person (change my own oil, change front suspension bushing, change tires, etc.) and scheduled maintenance is good and fashionable. This filter is a reliable AC Delco product - high quality and well made. He does exactly what he is supposed to. I have a problem with a GM Cadillac SRX '15 and an air filter change. Most air filters are easy to reach and with 3 or 4 clips you're done. For some reason Cadillac requires you to remove the air outlet hose from the filter box. Okay, no big deal, but now you need a tool. Then to remove the upper part of the air intake you need to lift and pull the upper part so that 1/3 of it is under the bodywork. Then you take it out and then you have to put a new one in. Care must be taken to ensure that it is in the correct position, otherwise it could become trapped. Summary - the filter is great. Installation and ease of installation is too complicated for what should take 30 seconds to turn into a 5-10 minute "get it right" adventure
