Replacing the battery made the collar work like new.
I was hesitant to buy this. I have had a Dogtra electric collar for 7 years and the battery life has (understandably) expired. I haven't worn a collar in years but we have a new puppy and we need him. I've heard from others that they had no luck changing the battery on their Dogtra collar and had to buy a new collar instead. . That was not my experience, with a new battery the collar worked like new! I'm so glad I didn't have to buy a new collar.
