This is a great starter kit. The first thing you need to do is buy some higher quality brushes. The included brushes are great for large blocks of color but not for fine lines and detail. Please note that additional brushes may not fit in the small box. So if you have a choice, go for the shorter handle option. I found I was running out of white quickly, so a large tube of white would be a good idea too. The box itself is beautiful. I used everything in it, even the complex brushes. Oil painting consumables are expensive, so it was definitely worth it.
