I bought this a month ago to put in my friend's car (2000 Taurus) and it still works fine. Looks better than the factory radio in my opinion. I gave 4 stars because the instructions weren't great and it took a while to set everything up. The instructions state that you must remove the bracket after removing the factory radio. Bracket has NOT been removed. I spent a good hour looking for an invisible clip in the dark. That was the first problem. Second, the factory screws on the old radio were too small to fit the adapters on the side of the new radio (Kenwood 558U). If you run into a similar problem, just buy some metric (M5 8mm) machine screws and you should be good to go. The third problem came when I was trying to fit a new head unit (a DIN) into the dash to finally get it over with. . The head unit never fit securely in the car. First you need to remove the dashboard and assemble everything. Then insert the entire assembly into the machine. I hope nobody comes across similar problems I had and if they do I hope this post helps. After everything was set up, it looked nice and still works well.
