Review on OWC 8GB (2X4GB) PC3-12800 DDR3L 1600MHz SO-DIMM 204 Pin CL11 Memory Upgrade Kit For IMac by Dave Moody

In late 2015 I added my iMac 27" Retina 32GB. I edit large photo files (medium to large format film scans at 3200 DPI) and the 8GB standard memory was anemic for the task.Also, streaming music to an external DAC sometimes caused memory crashes with multiple other apps open.The OWC 32GB installed easily - I just popped the sticks into the empty slots, the cover reattached it, plugged it in and turned it on. The first startup sequence seemed a little slower but I didn't time it. Now my iMac runs smoother and better.
