Review on Washable Mopping IRobot Reusable Sweeping by Susan King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well made and the same size as the OEM disposable pads - just bought 3 more

Edited July 2020: After almost a year of consistent use these pads have performed well. After a single use, I rinse them with hot water to remove dirt from the surface, spray them with Shout, machine wash them in hot water, and then lay them flat to air dry. This method leaves no residual dirt to stain the pad and keeps the blue color, allowing the robot to recognize the color and use the correct cleaning program. I also found a way to prevent the pad from making those weird noises while working: turn the robot upside down, insert the plastic base into the slot, and then attach the velcro pad as close to the front end as possible of the robot. .My only gripe after a year is that the velcro pulls up at the corners because it's glued (not sewn) to the plastic base. This doesn't bother me enough to lower my rating though, I just press the corner of the velcro with my thumb when removing the liner. Also, to be honest, I still use OEM disposable pads every now and then, especially in winter when more dirt gets in the house, but 9 times out of 10 I use these pads. First Review: These washable pads are great if you want to avoid single-use, disposable pads. This aftermarket version is not an iRobot OEM product, however they work well especially when used with iRobot Cleaning Solution Concentrate due to the detergent added to the disposable pads. Braava uses the color of the pad to determine the cleaning method, so they are the same shade as OEM pads. The Revain has a number of aftermarket versions to choose from, it's the more expensive choice but honestly you get what you pay for with this type of stuff. Remove in the same manner as disposable pads. It also helps to moisten the cushion a little before attaching it. As for striped bottoms: I think too much grout is causing this, I use 1 cap instead of 2 as stated.
