Updated review - it still has a strong lasting scent. But holy shit. It left my hair softer and more moisturized than any other set. I'll probably try another set of these and see if I prefer a different flavor, but the results are worth the taste question. It doesn't smell bad, just strong! But it works really really well! I wanted to write a review because while this is a good set it has a very very strong smell. It feels like it has softened my hair and I have suffered some damage since having my baby so I will continue to use it. But - it's not something I would buy again. For the smell alone, I'd love to find an Asian shampoo that doesn't have a strong scent. It really does feel like it works 100% better than American shampoos, really conditioning and moisturizing hair. But too much scent! It is too much.
