💆 Revitalizing Soft Moisture ICHIKAMI Shampoo & Conditioner Set (Orange) - NEW 2017 Review

My shampoo and conditioner bottles were packaged well, the caps were unscrewed, but somehow the shampoo bottle was missing a few inches of liquid (like someone came back after using it and they got the product simply repackaged). The air conditioning was also very watery. This product has a strange old lady perfume smell. It's just not what I expected after paying so much for it.

I love Ichiki because of the unique flavor that is not as overpowering as American brands. The mild moisturizing shampoo smells divine and is the perfect balance between fruity and floral notes. Now winter is in full swing and my scalp is drier and more prone to dandruff. I figured a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner would help control it between washes. My first impression of this product after the first wash was that my hair was very soft. I wouldn't say it was silky, but it was healthier. I don't know how shampoos/conditioners add volume, but either this one lacks that ability or my hair has somehow become dirtier. I have thick, coarse hair. My husband used it too and it made his hair *really* sad as he has fairly thin hair. I will not redeem.
