This amount is fantastic. If you really need a long extension that needs to be strong and smooth in operation, this is the one for you. Yes, it's a bit expensive. However, when you're hanging a $2,000 TV that far from the wall, I think it's a fair price. For my application it is used in the classroom and allows you to watch TV perpendicular to the wall, eliminating the need for a projector in the room.
