Review on MITO AUTO OE Integrated Vehicle CD Player via USB Radio Connection (MIT-USBCDV2) – Streamlined Connectivity with Vehicle Fit Chart by Ivan Carson

Plays all audio CD formats priced at

Installation and integration into the car radio audio controller took only a minute. True plug and play device. A clean USB cable delivers power and sound to connect to your car's audio system with no installation hassle. Too bad it can't play all CD formats. It's limited in that regard and you don't know if it can play a CD or not. In some cases it only plays about 1/3 of the CDs I have in my collection. However, I put up with it and kept it because it sounds great. There is no other player on the market that can be integrated into a car audio controller as easily as this one. It also measures about 6 inches square and about 1 inch tall and fits nicely in a compartment in your dash or console. But for the price, there's no excuse that it can't play other audio CD formats. Cheaper portable players can do that. However, they are not suitable for car audio controllers if they only have a 3.5mm headphone jack. This type of output jack has too low a signal level to feed the car stereo. You have to fill the auto-aduio system almost 85% full to hear them. You need a real AUX LINE OUT jack or a direct USB connection like this player has. This player has only one USB output and works fine, that's all you need. Just note that the same CD player is offered. from different sellers for more than $100 less than this MITO car player. I thought because it's more expensive it will play my CDs. But it doesn't, and it's the same device as others.

Pros
  • Enjoy an optional MITO AUTO CD player for your car with a cable by plugging it into the USB port of the factory radio. The device can be installed both vertically and horizontally.
Cons
  • Almost never
