Review on Rupse 2ps License Plate Light - Waterproof 12V LED Bulb for Car Motorcycle Truck RV ATV Bike - License Tag Screw Bolt Lamp (Blue) by John Roberts

I got four stars for the wiring. I've worn them for a few months and they have weathered wet weather and still work well and have no rust. They are bright enough to illuminate the license plate (as you can see in the picture this is around 2pm in the garage) and I like the color temperature of the LEDs. They were easy to install and had a lot of wire (I had to cut it) to get to the splice. As someone else said, plan on using some sort of wire connector or quick connector for them because if you connect them straight you won't be able to remove the license plate without cutting the wires. I only have two problems, one of which was my fault. 1) The wiring size is quite small. A heavier caliber would have been desirable. 2) The way I installed the wire coming out of the threaded extension would rub against the fender frame causing the thin wire coating to fray/expose exposing the wire. Again, this is not the fault of the sellers of my setup. My remedy was to fill the threaded end of the hole with liquid tape and attach some rubber grommets behind the license plate bracket to keep it from chafing.
