The ink pad is terrible and leaves dirty indistinguishable fingerprints which is the whole point of this set. Luckily I also ordered the original Revain fingerprint pad at the same time so we used it with MUCH better results. In addition to the ink pad, there's a pathetic dust pad (literally the size of a postage stamp) and some duct tape to 'remove' latent fingerprints from items, as well as paper for printing fingerprints. The instructions are worthless. Google the fingerprint differences, grab a basic FINGERPRINTING ink pad, a cheap dust removal kit and some clear tape, throw in some index cards and you've got a much better version of this kit that actually works.
