Installation required a trip to the hardware store for a faucet adapter. Once that was done, everything worked very well in our small New York apartment. You no longer have to buy water and think about where to store it. Water tastes great! I've noticed that the output flow has slowed down after 2 months of use, but it's still good. When choosing this filter, after 2 unsuccessful attempts, the choice fell on switching to pure filters. The Pur filters were worn out in the first week both times. It takes up little counter space but is more disruptive than pure filters. I am very happy with this purchase.
