Review on πŸš€ Experience Power and Speed with AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Processor by Stanislaw Kimsa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

I will say right away that in the past I used solutions from both Intel and AMD, I am not a fan of any brand, I vote with a for what I consider to be the best for me at the moment. In general, I do not regret the purchase. I recommend to buy for those who change percent every 5 years. If you buy a percentage for work, calculation or rendering, then I don’t see an alternative for the same money from Intel. At the moment, Intel is ahead in games, but Intel processors lose their relevance much earlier (the fx series from AMD currently outperforms the old solutions from Intel, although, when these processors were released, it was exactly the opposite, due to the fact that games are gradually moving towards multi-core and multithreading). I also consider the presence of snot under the lid to be an unpleasant fact, even in k versions of older Intel processors - just a spit in the face of buyers. But nevertheless, if you are an avid gamer, change the processor (and the motherboard, respectively, now support for old sockets already looks like a fairy tale) every couple of years and those 10% increase in FPS is important to you (not on a 60Hz monitor, of course), then I recommend buy intel. By the way, I forgot to mention heat dissipation, AMD also surpassed Intel in this matter, even a boxed cooler does an excellent job without extreme overclocking, not to mention the towers.

Pros
  • Price/performance ratio
Cons
  • Relative overclocking, not all memory modules start at a given frequency.
