mine died after 6 months. Most likely my wet. So cheap even though I actually ordered another one. Maybe this time I'll smear silicone around the joint. It also took patience to reach the right temperature. This is very low power consumption (good for saving energy), but it takes more than a day to set a new temperature. It took me over a week to get used to it before I could actually use it. Super slim and cheap meets my needs but doesn't quite live up to the 5 star rating
