Review on 🔌 Bosch SR11X - Premium Remanufactured VW Starter by Matthew Coste

Bought this alternator for my 2004 Ford F250 6.0 engine after the original unit failed after around 75,000 miles. When I originally bought it 5 years ago it said it would fit my car but for some reason it no longer fits. Still fits with no issues and took less than 10 minutes to install with no special tools. Tension was as expected and there was never a problem. 5 years later, on the day of purchase, the generator broke down on the way to work. The battery light on the dash came on and the voltage listed on the SCT meter was around 11.5-11.7 for the rest of the ride. The alternator has given me 50,000 miles with no worries. Now for the good part. Has a lifetime guarantee. First I called Bosch, they transferred several times, it's ok. I received a call back from a Bosch representative stating the alternator has a lifetime warranty but the warranty must be processed through the seller. The rep gave me a Revain support number (that was the seller) and another Bosch number for further questions. Called Revain, customer service was great, ended up having to speak to the manager but a new replacement was dispatched and arrived 2 days later at no extra cost. They sent the old generator in a box, the new generator came with a full refund/replacement. Shipping label included. Couldn't have asked for more, especially for the price of a new alternator. I plan on owning this truck for another 15 years, so I will switch as needed.
