I'd spend another $15-20 if it was a good solid material.

Very inferior material. With my Peterbilt, that wasn't even enough for a month. I've used it on my half hood just to open and close the hood but it's just worn out. This item was supposed to be solid metal with a chrome finish, but it was more of a plastic.
