I needed a few more magnetic hooks and wanted something similar to what I already have, tested 60lb magnetic swivel hooks. I have several of these. I figured I could use a hook that weighed less, and when I found these hooks could hold 25 pounds and about $5 less per dozen, I decided to give it a try. The hooks arrived same day in good condition as promised. However, upon unpacking, I immediately noticed how much lighter, smaller and less durable they are compared to my current ones. The wire that makes up the hook is about twice as thin as my 60 pound test wires, and when I tried to twist the hook, the wire came loose from the magnet. Hmmm. So, I checked the magnets are holding and it's good. Solid for such a small magnet. The advantage of these hooks is the magnet, not the construction. Also, the word "Swivel" in the description and title of this product is misleading. There is no built in swivel mechanism between hook and magnet. When they say they can rotate 360 degrees, that means the entire mount, including the magnet, must also rotate on the surface it's attached to. rzunimag. It's like saying my dining table rotates 360 degrees. Yes, if another person would help me rotate it across the floor, but that's not what I mean by a swivel function.
