Great starter set or add-on set

I don't usually buy crayon sets under 72 because I like having a wide range of colors. When I saw them they were pretty good for the price so I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. The pencils are smooth and bright, they blend and layer very well too, I didn't even need a pencil blender. I had no trouble sharpening them and while they don't have names they all have numbers. The color scheme is good, there are even ones that aren't in any other set and I have quite a few of them. The only downside is that some colors are very close together, like 10, 11, and 13; then 14 and 12 and 32 and 47, they are difficult to tell apart. Cardboard packaging isn't the best but I prefer it over a tin especially if it means a better price because I carry my pens in boxes or cases as tins are bulky and I never use them. If you are looking for a ready made set this might not be the best for you but I think if you are a beginner and don't want to get confused with too many colors it includes all your basics plus a few extras or if you have it there many pencils and you are looking for a set with unique colors. This is a great purchase.

Pros
  • Innovative Oil-Based Lead: Compared to wax sketch pencils, oil sketch pencils are stronger and more pigmented, so they hold a better tip and never lose a wax film. Whether you are looking for adult coloring pencils or coloring pencils for children, these professional art pencils draw beautifully.
Cons
  • High Price
