waste of money. Correction of collar sounds when switched on is also not adjustable

After setup I tested the system. My old system had to be set to about 75% to be picked up. This one when I turned 60 went 15 feet off the wire, came back and reduced it to 50, same thing. Reduced it to 30 and I can put the handset on the cord and it doesn't work. I've found it activates at 36 1ft from the wire, but when activated it sizzles. When you turn on the receivers they also make a loud beep very similar to the correction tone that startles the dog, runs away from what it is doing and pisses. The thing is screwed up. The dog too, but when the hell would he squeak so damn loud. Depending on the setting. If you have one cable installed, it's the same as everyone else. Summary; The control box isn't really regulated to be turned on or off, but you'll need to find a place to turn it on. It's good to have two receivers, but the beep to turn it on scares the dog. And shock in the form of a sound signal when the dog approaches the fence. I would also like to add that the system I had had an orange dial and the photos showed the switch you had on for the collar. From these photos it looks like the system is digital but these are the collars that came with mine. The battery life of the collar is less than 8 hours. Waste of money buying a pet fence.
