The thing is really convenient, of course it won’t replace a real toilet, but a country option or an option when other amenities are not available will do just fine. Used in the apartment while the bathroom was being renovated. I've been using it for a few years now. I tried different liquids - in general, plus or minus the same thing. Only a very cheap concentrate has a pungent odor in itself. The rest are doing fine. I change once a week for two people with occasional use - there is no smell.
