Value for Money

**UPDATE** Today (10/06/2020) the backrest of the chair failed. The backrest travel is about 1 inch, which makes sitting very uncomfortable. I've checked all the options and I can't bring it back to the state it was before. I will check with the seller if there is anything we can do to resolve this issue. First off, let me say that I don't usually spend that kind of money on a chair, but I'm glad I did. As well as being a software developer, I'm also an artist and Twitch streamer, so I spend quite a bit of time at my desk. That being said, there are a few improvements to the chair that will really make themselves felt Enough that I'll be ordering more and recommending them to my friends, family, and viewers. Let's start with some things I would like to change. First, the armrests have a vertical lock, but the adjustment to rotate the angle of the cushions and place cushions toward and away from the body is good for not blocking at all. I've found that I often when I getting up for a break, having to adjust the armrests almost every time I come back. As for the material, it would be nice to see gel or memory foam coatings added to the contents of the packaging to show the company is a step ahead. At the moment the armrests are firmer and a bit softer, but the construction is very solid. In terms of chair comfort, it's pretty good for a 5ft 10in person weighing 160lbs. a bit more vertical as it puts pressure right around the outside bottom of my pants pockets. The mesh fabric is a nice change from the hard chairs I'm used to and keeps me comfortable all day long. I would like better access to the controls and a more convenient placement. For now, you'll have to sit back and look at the back of the armrest to try and read the labels. Moving the controls forward eliminates any strain. The base is solid and secure. I was very happy to see it, but roller wheels? How did I live without them on my other office chairs!? In my opinion (as long as they aren't worth the price of a chair) they beat the old casters that get broken or dirty over time and just don't work. What I would like Creative types, streamers etc. would like to see a headrest cover with the NOUHAUS logo, a few little extras like the armrests I suggested earlier and better positioning of the seat controls. Overall this is a really solid chair for the money and looks great in my home office/studio. I'll probably pick up another one after comparing it to the DX Racer line.
