Works great but you only get 18 months of updates

TabScan X7 Car Code Reader OBD2 works great. It has a ton of features and does pretty much everything I'll ever need and then some. Much better than those tiny cheap scanners. The touchscreen works well and the stuff loads pretty quickly. The only thing I don't like is that you pay such a high price for a better scanner but have to pay for updates after 18 months? I don't like it at all. I can't stand this practice of charging you for updates to a product you've already paid for. If you didn't have to pay for updates in the future I would give this 5 stars, but as I have to pay for updates 18 months later I'm lowering my rating to 2 stars. Don't burden people with something they've already paid for. Just because some companies do it doesn't make it right.
