Appearance is chrome steel and very prone to rust! Don't skimp, get the all rust free version 1980A-SS

They are chrome plated which means they will rust. They stayed shiny for the first month. The interior is stainless steel while the exterior is plain chrome plated steel. Now they look terrible and I wish I had paid a little more for the stainless steel companion.
