I love my family. I really struggled with sizing as I have very wide feet, bursitis and always small shoe options. So annoying. But my kids love their families and I wanted to have my own. I'm a nanny and need comfortable, versatile footwear so I'm prepared for whatever comes my way. I usually wear a size between 7.5 and 8. A size 8 is almost always too big for me, but I need it for the width. Anyway, I ordered 7 at first - too tight. The 8 was much better. As my feet are wide it took a few days to adjust but eventually gave way. I hope if you have wide feet like me this helps you with your size! I would stick with your normal size. Even with my children, I had to stick to the current actual sizes because the next size was too big. You hit and the back goes up.
