This article seems to be durable. The two rubber seals inside work very well. If you place your thumb on the end and press the button, the piston will stop halfway and hold the vacuum until your thumb is released. I've used this quite a bit and it works great. I half expected to have to take it apart every few times to clean it. But it cleans itself pretty well if you press on the plunger to cock it. Most of the solder that is pulled out is pushed back out of the nozzle. So if you cock it after removing the old solder, do it over the trash can. In general very satisfied. This was an extra item for me and I should have ordered it a long time ago.
