Decided to completely rewrite my review. Anyone who buys this monitor and is not an experienced professional should take some time to read the detailed review by TFT-Central carefully. It takes time to get used to this monitor. I'm still learning, but I've learned a few things. When delivered, the brightness was either 80 or 100 percent for me. This setting is optional to get the most out of this monitor. At maximum brightness, viewing this monitor is like looking at the sun, it may cause eye stinging and sunburn. No wonder there is backlight! After spending some time reading the above review, I changed the settings similar to them. I lowered the brightness to 50% and mostly fixed the backlight issue (two before and after photos). To tell the truth, I could have turned the brightness down even more, but I'm fine now. I originally gave the monitor 2 stars and said I had to return it. I now give 5 stars and will keep them. Stunning ultra clear picture quality and a real eye catcher when playing a game or watching a 4k movie (I have a 4k player on my desktop). If it is possible to understand the meaning of the word, the word отклика, the adaptivny system and the д. и т. д. Потрется некоторое время, чолучить монитор тt я х хanne, или у я я хочу иастро keepe. do. The only possible minor downsides for me, aside from a few plastic parts, are: 1. OSD access. All monitor manufacturers should simply copy LG's center joystick method. The LG joystick is completely intuitive, easily accessible and can be used with one hand in the dark without having to hold the monitor still during use, even when the monitor is attached to your arm. The buttons on the right rear of this Acer monitor are difficult to see, and the monitor moves around the hand it's placed on unless I'm holding it still with my other hand. No fun! 2. Features of working with two monitors. This may be the case with all dual monitor setups, but I seem to have more black screens when starting my computer than I have in the past with other dual monitor setups. Sometimes I have to restart the system or restart one or both monitors. Just a bizarre problem that is a very minor annoyance.3. Automatic reset. I noticed that after exiting HDR mode in the OSD, the visual settings went back to default, the brightness went back to 80%, the color temperature went "warm" and some other changes were made. Most likely user error on my part and a minor issue now that I know, but this jump in brightness might confuse someone if they don't notice, and the backlight dimming gets more severe. Now I am very happy with this follow and I highly recommend it. It's not perfect, but extremely satisfactory at this point. Eventually, this technology becomes old news. Great work so far Acer and kudos for bringing a more affordable high refresh rate 4K monitor to market.
