I wanted this monitor to please me. The frequency of 120Hz is very smooth in games and even improves the mouse response on the desktop. Unfortunately, this monitor has too many flaws to justify its price. 1) As with the others, there is terrible backlighting in each of the 4 corners of the panel. First things first: This panel has a factory brightness of 450 nits. That's too much for an IPS panel with no local dimming, which is why you're seeing all those horrible black uniformity photos. I've attached two photos taken in a darkened room at 20 brightness or about 180 nits. Great gaming monitor with great specs. 4k, 144Hz, IPS (AHVA). HDR is a plus, but it's not implemented very well here. Looks good but no auto HDR when signal is detected. You have to switch to it manually from the monitor menu. HDR configuration options are very limited. With this you can only activate the super resolution. Brightness, contrast, color temperature and other functions are disabled. Otherwise the rest is excellent.

I did some terrible research to find a really good 4k monitor for my Xbox One X. In short, it is not compatible with 4K games on Xbox One X. It is, but it's not out of the box. If you want to use it on your Xbox One, look elsewhere. If you want to use it for 4K resolution PC gaming, I'm sure it'll be great. Says it can overclock to 144Hz and 4K. At least that was my interpretation. I have a 2080 TI Lightning Z so it's not my graphics card. I can only get this thing to work at 4K and 128. I'm sure if I lowered it to 1080 the PI could get a higher frame rate, but if I did there are many cheaper monitors out there.
