Review on Acer XV273K Pbmiipphzx: Ultra HD 4K Gaming Monitor with DisplayHDR400, 144Hz & Built-In Speakers by Tommy Reeves

Light bleeding isn't that bad

I was concerned about this monitor based on the backlight reviews. Then I saw other reviews that indicated the light bleed wasn't that bad. Then on Prime Day they had this monitor really cheap so I took a chance. I have to agree that light bleeding isn't that bad. You need to lower the brightness as the default setting is too high. Once this is done, you should no longer see light blur when watching a dark movie or dark parts of game scenes. Playing games in 4K resolution with HDR and G-Sync on this monitor is fantastic. This is my first G-Sync compatible monitor and I set it to 120Hz and my FPS performance has really improved a lot. I feel like John Wick! Movies look great too. At the current price of $776, it's worth it. At more than twice the price of the Acer Predator, I doubt you'll see twice the performance. You can also enable 10-bit RGB at 144Hz with Freesync. However, HDR doesn't work for Microsoft reasons. To enable this you need to open another browser tab, go to the search engine and search for acer nitro xv273k with dual display port support. The first result should look like this.
