took the bait on it. thought hey maybe i'll win the lottery and get it without the bad panel. It worked fine for about 3 months, then I started having constant screen flickering when both DPI cables were connected. I decided I had bad cables so I replaced them with the ones that came with them. the problem continued. I just switched to HDMI and the problem has lessened, but I didn't get the picture quality or frequency that I paid for with just HDMI, so I switched back to dpi, but this time with just one cable. the flickering of the screen has subsided after about 3 months and is not getting worse. Changed the cable twice, didn't help. Every time I walk across the screen, every time I open an in-game menu, every time I open a new window, all the time. terrible experience. Never buy an Acer product again.
