Wanted to make a blanket for my mom. After seeing the prices for a larger roll, I decided to try it myself. I'm not a smart person. I've redone this blanket 4 times, making it tighter each time. Make sure you work on a very clean surface as it tends to pick up things. I definitely chose the wrong color as you can see the fibers and hair this stuff picks up. I used all 8 pounds for this blanket. It's heavy and warm, but I'm afraid it will get stuck or tear over time. That's why I made it tighter every time. My mother liked it and said she uses it regularly. I'm not giving 5 stars because I've never used this material before. I'm not sure how it should be. All I know is that I was happy with my purchase and would buy from them again. I received my purchase in about 3 days from the date of purchase.
