I played 4 laps on 3 different tracks with this watch. The trails were defined and the yardage was similar to what is listed on the units used by others, usually three yards (+/-) apart, which most of us nitwits won't affect negatively. The sad thing about it: The watch would not switch between military (24 hours) and civilian (12 hours) display. Keeping scores was inconvenient, two rounds were recorded in one round (one was played), points scored were recorded between two rounds. On the other hand, customer support responded (via email) and after a couple of weeks, presumably to have time for code changes, provided a software update with download instructions for the watch - with the caveat that this too all notes that could result have been deleted. The new software is dated 07/25/2019 and we wish you the best of luck with watches purchased before this date. I'd also like to note that the function selection buttons were unyielding, often requiring multiple presses to elicit a response. My guess is that the software for the product was released with unresolved bugs. The two stars are for GPS and footage, which seems to work pretty well. look for another brand
