I recently bought this large waterproof cargo bag because as a family of 6 we often need extra space when we travel. I was surprised how strong and big the cargo bag was. It fits my Ford Tour perfectly, but I would say since the pannier is XL (suitable for 15 cu ft) I would recommend it for large cars, not small cars. The straps and buckles are very strong, the zipper works well (slips easily). Plus, the material is thick and totally waterproof, and I don't have to worry about my clothes or travel gear getting wet on the inside. Another thing I would like to point out is that while other large hard plastic suitcases have locks, I'm not concerned about security as there is a Velcro flap that folds over the zipper and then snaps into place. The straps slide through the bars at the top of my excursion and secure via the Velcro for attachment. No one can unzip the zipper without undoing a few straps. Good product! Thanks very much!
