Smooth rails that are easy to install

Failed to load media. I like these drawers a lot. In order to access the entire drawer, I wanted to replace the 3/4 slides with full extension slides. I replaced my kitchen drawers with soft closes and didn't like the resistance on first opening so I specifically looked for drawers without soft closes and stumbled across this. I decided to buy a pair to try and they were not disappointed. Since I have experience installing slides, it only took a few minutes to swap them out. I will say that I didn't like the included screws because they didn't have a flat back. When installing slides, I only use flat-backed screws for two reasons. They're safer (more surface area to slide in) and lie flatter, allowing for more clearance (unless you're going in perfectly straight). I ended up using my own screws for added security and a cleaner look. The guides fit perfectly and run smoothly. These rails are 1/2" tall, so make sure your drawer is 1" smaller than the opening to accommodate the width of the rail. I set the rails to the bottom of the hole and set the rail insert 3/16" from the bottom of the drawer. This was the ideal clearance for the guide to work. This maximizes any extra clearance that may be at the top Didn't like screws because these rails worked so well and were so smooth I ordered more of the same rails when I decided to build a triple box I used 3 sets of rails for my triple drawer Two pairs of rails were nested in the drawer, while a pair were installed on the outside of the drawer. Each slide worked effortlessly which confirmed my choice to use these slides was the right one.As I collect more boxes I will be going back and ordering more of these exact slides, because i like her so much.
