Review on πŸ”₯ Classic Zippo Black Crackle Lighter: Timeless Style and Dependable Flame by George Jacobson

Zippo quality good for lighters

Zippo quality. Other reviewers write great reviews; I've carried Zippos through a few wildfires and a war for 40 years. If they had any flaws, I would have given them up long ago. The only bug I've ever encountered is loops that don't work well. Sent them back to Zippo and they fixed them for free. The finish on Zippo is not guaranteed, which doesn't bother me. I am not a collector or connoisseur of lighters; Just use them to set the fire in place until they wear out. The black finish on this one is only slightly rough. Obviously this is some sort of finish on the brass version of Zippo. A person must grind the wick in order for it to ignite the first blow. Incidentally, I've fueled Zippos in the field with everything from naphtha to real gasoline; American Gas ETOH Broken Penny does not work. I don't know of any real Zippo user who hasn't burned their leg with Zippo fuel due to a fuel leak. I used recycled flints from disposable lighters. My Zippos have never let me down as long as I feed and clean them properly.
