They replaced the rails that prevented the drawer from opening fully. They don't come with brackets to attach to the back of the cabinet, so I attached 3/4 inch boards to the inside of the cabinets so I had a mounting surface. Not all cabinets were square, so they had to be lined up. They work well and I have a few more inches of drawer space to access. The screws provided are soft aluminum and cause more trouble than any other part of the project, luckily I was able to use screws salvaged from old hardware. If it were done again I would buy a Kreg jig. The instructions were very helpful once I saw the placement of the screws. Don't do anything other than screw into the back hole unless you have a perfect fit or you lose your self-adjustment feature.
