I have had Ooma for my home office for several years and have finally decided to switch to our landline at home. With a Linx device, I can assign a phone number to it, and my home office line only rings on the phone it's connected to, not all the phones in the house. I can still connect Ooma Telo to my main phone at home and only make calls there. Perfect solution. I'm thinking about getting one for the fax machine. Setup was too easy. You just plug it in next to the Telo and hold down the page button (an antenna like thing) on the Telo for 3 seconds. It says something about being ready to pair devices or something. After a few seconds, one indicator will turn blue and the other will flash blue and orange. It's downloading firmware, DO NOT touch it until it's solid blue. It will reboot so the lights won't come on for a second but be patient it will come back. Once both lights turn blue, turn it off and place it where you want it. My Telo is on the ground floor and my Linx is upstairs at the other end of the house. I plugged it in and it works perfectly!
