GRANDMA YES! best in Telephones and accessories

I hesitated for a long time to replace my landline telephone. A friend told me about Ooma three years ago and it took me a while to recover. I have a base station and needed to add this WiFi for an old phone that was not part of my WiFi setup. Linx Wireless works great. All Ooma is a worthy alternative to the rarely used landline. I read many reviews about Ooma in different places. We have basic services, we only pay taxes and the cost of switching our landline to Ooma. Anything about upgrades…

Linx is ideal for adding a second phone line

Linx works great with the Ooma base. I was impressed with how fast it ran and how it could program itself from the base unit. The Linx device plugs into a wall outlet and a standard phone cord plugs into the bottom of the device, allowing you to connect your phone or other device. ADVANTAGES: - A Linx device is fairly quick to program - With basic services, a Linx device can be used to provide phone line extension in an area where there is no telephone jack - A Linx device with premium service…

Ideal for separating the home line from the office!

I have had Ooma for my home office for several years and have finally decided to switch to our landline at home. With a Linx device, I can assign a phone number to it, and my home office line only rings on the phone it's connected to, not all the phones in the house. I can still connect Ooma Telo to my main phone at home and only make calls there. Perfect solution. I'm thinking about getting one for the fax machine. Setup was too easy. You just plug it in next to the Telo and hold down the page

You need a stable internet.

The biggest complaint, the customer support is often difficult to handle. You get a "first level" person on the phone who may or may not (in my case) know what they are talking about. Finally, if you insist and call back, you can go to the second level of support. This level knows a lot more and can usually solve your problem. When I had an issue with the OOMA app, I was told that the issue would be escalated to someone else. It did, and the next day I was informed that the problem was due to a

Of the 3 Linux modules, one works fine, the other two not so much.

I bought 3 Linux modules to replace our existing hardware extensions. I've had hum on wired extensions so this would be a good workaround. . A Linx resides on the same floor as the OOMA base unit. and we had no problems with it. Sound quality is good etc. The other two units are in the furnished basement. They stop working every two weeks. The failure mode is that the blue and orange lights are on and the device does not work when the handset is off hook. The workaround for this is to…

This Linux has stopped working for less than 30 days. When I tried to get help on their live chat, he advised me to reset the Linx by inserting a paper clip into the reset hole on the bottom of the Linx. There is no. So buy this product if you want a low quality product with useless support. Here's a transcript of their support chat: Arvy: Thanks for using the Ooma chat! This service is for simple issues that can be resolved immediately. For more complex issues that require detailed…

Impeccable sound quality

Ooma is just amazing. I threw in two lines of AT&T U poetry for Ooma, saved about $40 a month, and have never looked back. The payback period for my equipment was 10 weeks. After that, my monthly savings turned into pure gravy. Ideal sound quality. Excellent support. The base unit of Ooma is called Telo. Ooma also sells proprietary phones, but these aren't necessary if you already have the hardware. Ooma works seamlessly with my Panasonic KX-TG6841 Dect 6 cordless phone with 5 handsets and no…
