This is my first diamond stone. I have been using traditional wet and oil stones for over 40 years and was considering buying a belt system when a friend suggested this product as an alternative to spending time and money re-sharpening my knives. I really like that I maintain my technique and working style and I buy a number of cereals to complete my collection.
