I have a Samsung 970 Evo installed in it. It didn't work initially because Windows gave an "Invalid Operation" error. Push the drive further into the slot than you think, and then snap it into the plastic latch. After work, it's fast enough to saturate USB 3.0. Samsung and some other manufacturers use the heatsink label on their drives. I didn't install the included silicon/metal heatsink and that wasn't a problem, but if your drive has bare chips it should be installed.
