Review on Red ABS Filament 1 by Greg Roberts

Doesn't stop twisting best in 3D printing Filament

One failure after another. I've tried printing at different nozzle and layer temperatures from 220-240C to 80-110C with both textured and glass layers and couldn't get this material to work for me. I've used glue and sprays and still can't crack the code. This filament curls very quickly once extruded and in most cases lasts long enough to print a raft, but that's about it. I've tried skirts and brims but can't find a convincing combination. I've leveled the bed several times and just can't figure out what's going on. I've tried to eliminate user error as much as possible, but for the past three days I can't stop the ABS from rolling up. Plate adhesion is good for the first 1-2 hours of printing, then everything goes sideways. When I clear this up I'll get back to you with good news, but so far this thread has been a nightmare. Up until this roll I was printing just fine, and as soon as the swap happened all the problems started. 2 stars if I accidentally can't get it to work it's user error. 3 stars if I can get it to work due to the troubleshooting required. I can confirm it's filament, I've just redone my prints with Nylon and PETG with no issues.
