My son begged me to buy these bikes. To be honest I thought they were a rip off and not worth the extra cost but I'm glad I gave up. First, the wheels were easy to assemble - I didn't even have to assemble them! My child (in elementary school) managed it on his own without even asking for help. Second, the wheels appear to be fairly durable. My son has been riding his scooter non-stop since COVID-19 broke out - it keeps him from going crazy and I'm glad it keeps him active. In all his escapades (curb jumping, wheelie training, etc.), the wheels proved to be solid. They're also grippy enough for him to confidently take tight corners. Finally, flashlights are a great safety feature. They're not as bright in the midday sun, but in the morning or at dusk it adds an element of visibility.
