4 USB3 hubs plus 1 USB power port

I got this because my old desktop computer ran out of USB ports and added two more USB -Had to add connectors. (Note that this is a 4-to-1 USB hub, so you are actually adding 3 more USB ports than your computer currently has, as connecting to the hub requires a USB port on the computer .) I like that the body of this hub is metal and is heavy enough to stay in place during normal use. I also liked that it comes with a 24W power adapter so it doesn't use your computer's limited DC power supply, which is available through the USB source port you use to connect the hub to your computer. I don't understand why there are switches for each USB connector in a port (I've swapped USB connectors on the fly my entire life), but they don't detract from functionality at all - I just leave them all on. Please note that if you are expanding the USB ports on an existing computer, you must connect the port to one of the high-speed ports (blue USB port) on the computer. Otherwise, this source port will limit your USB speed through the hub. Pros: Adds 3 additional high-speed USB ports to your computer, plus a dedicated DC charging port. It has its own 24W power supply. The case is heavy and strong enough to stay in place during normal use. Each port has an "ON" showing whether you have it turned on or not, but it's not that bright, it's distracting in a darkened room. Possible Improvement: As far as I can tell, nothing. This is perfect for my use. This solved my problem.

Pros
  • Individual ON/OFF switches and LED indicators
Cons
  • Not bad but...
