Works for me

I am modifying these floor mats for use in a van. I reduced their size. This will remove the very thin outer strip of uncarpeted rubber surround. I would not use these rugs for their intended purpose. I find them too thin and don't lie completely flat. They can pose a travel risk. However, they are ideal for my purposes. I needed something to climb into our bed that wouldn't slide down. What they don't. And they look very beautiful. The second problem is the smell. It seems like all the rubber that comes out of China these days smells really bad. I hope that goes away with time.
